Dave has been playing the bagpipes for about twenty years. He has been a corps piper in The Salt Lake Scots Bagpipe Band and is one of the organizers of the Heathen Highlanders. In 1994 Dave competed in the World Pipe Band Championships in Glascow Scotland. Dave has been the piper for hundreds of events.
 

Mike has been playing the bagpipes for over twenty-one years. He is a former Pipe Sgt. of The Salt Lake Scots Bagpipe Band, was a corps piper in The Utah Pipe Band, and currently plays with the Celtic rock band Swagger. Mike has organized many bagpipe events, from concerts to ceili's and Burn's suppers. He is currently working on Utah's first professional Irish music festival. Mike is also one of the organizers of the Heathen Highlanders.
 

Steve is an original Heathen Highlander. With no former Bagpipe Band experience Steve adds refreshing new life to the Heathens. Steve doesn’t do much solo performing but with his unique performing style he’s always a crowd pleaser at group shows and by far the most photogenic in the bunch!

Justin was taught to play the bagpipes by the father of piping in Utah, David Barclay. He later studied piping under world class pipers Jori Chisolm and John Carins. Along with membership in the Heathen Highlanders, Justin is the former Pipe Major of the Utah Pipe Band grade 4. He has been a corps piper in Wasatch and District Pipe Band, Prince Charles Pipe Band in San Francisco (grade 1) and Dowco-Triumph St in Vancouver (grade 1). Justin will be competing in the Pipe Band World Championships this year.
 

Chantel has been a competitive bagpiper for 15 years. She was a corps piper in The Salt Lake Scots Pipe Band and The Utah Pipe Band. Chantel currently performs with the Heathen Highlanders as a piper and a highland dancer.
 

Colby has been playing the bagpipes since 2000. He played with The Salt Lake Scots Pipe Band for a short time before joining The Wasatch and District Pipe Band. Colby currently plays with Wasatch and the Heathen Highlanders.

Marc is a native born Englishman with a Finnish name playing Scottish bagpipes in the U.S.A. He has played with The Celtic Spirit Pipe Band in New York and currently plays With The Wasatch and District Pipe Band. Marc brings a unique touch of class to The Heathen Highlanders.

Matt is an extraordinary musician. After several years with The Salt Lake Scots, Matt has abandoned traditional pipe bands to be a Heathen. In addition to being an exceptional piper, Matt has a diverse background with other instruments and music styles.
